Memphis Regionals Preview For You to Ctrl F For Your Name and Then Complain About What We Said About You

It's OK, we realize that you are only reading this article so you can control F for your name and then either complain that we under or overrated you (or omitted you entirely!). We are very mature and can take it, so feel free to roast us on twitter after reading this. Without further ado, here is your Memphis Regionals VGC 2017 preview!

The first name to look out for at memphis is Daravone Souphommanychanh. If there is anyone that is happpy about twitters new name length increase, its Daravone Souphommanychanh. Additionally, Daravone Souphommanychanh benefits most from the new timer, as his opponents will take quite a long time to read his name, giving him a distinct time advantage.

The next biggest player to look out for is Mega Gallade. Apparently upset with his low usage in VGC 2015, Mega Gallade has decided to take matters into his own hands and attend this regional in the flesh. Since we don't expect very many ghosts, birds or fairies to attend this regional, we expect a strong showing from mega gallade but we've been dissappointed by him before. Hopefully he performs better at this regional than he does in our team builder

Some other names to watch out for are Andrew Hart, Avik Purkayastha, Adam Baltrusaitrs, Ben Goff, Cameron Kicak, and Cody Collins. We took these names from the roster at random and figured we would say some nice things about them so they would feel good about themselves. If your name is on this list, then you have above average tastes in music and are probably better looking than average.

Then there are the wild cards Debazit Chakrabarty, Emma Thomas, George Tifverman, James McAnally, Jared Woitalla, and Joshua Pope, these people were also picked at random and copy and pasted into this article, but we arent quite willing to just say unambiguous nice things about these people. Instead, we will give them some ambiguous back handed compliments instead. If your name is on this list, then either you are a pretty cool guy who is also above average at driving, or you smell slightly worse than average.

This section (John Engel) is (Jose Briceno) dedicated to (Justin Burns) people (Logan Mazur) who are (Louis Milich) only mentioned (Mark Elson) briefly inside parenthesis (Matthew Triplett and Max Maier) so that (Micah Stinson) they crtl F (Nate Engstrom) their name and (Nicolas Retzlaff, Pete Schirrick, Rene Alvarenga) get excited (Robert Collier) but then just see (Ryan Heber) their name once (Sandy Martinez) and its only (Sean Bannen) a random (Stephen Mea) parenthetical statement.

Some other names that are either players we expect to do well, or current members of the US senate. (bet you can't even tell the difference!)

Alec Wild

Alex Underhill

Adam Sullivan

Alvin Martinez

Bernie Sanders

Ben Grissmer

Justin Frys

Bill Nelson

Chris Murphy

Max Simon

Mitchell Beyer

Gavin Michaels

Jim Risch

Jake White

Tom Vehlewald

Roger Wicker

Zachery Browning

Ryan Hebert

Look for these people to either place in the top 32 of this event or attempt to shape national policy before the new year! (8 of them are senators btw)

SMART MONEY

as everyone knows, the smart money position is totally cursed, so as I am writing this I am gifted with the extraordinary power to curse any one player to a x-3 at best finish. This is quite a powerful ability, and we have to be careful not to abuse this power. As such, we are picking Dane Zieman as the smart money so that we can be the sacrificial lamb for all you guys' times at memphis, Your're Welcome!

Haha just kidding! As if I would be so selfless! The smart money is on all players who are running lillikoal or pheromosa! Take that losers!

BREAKING NEWS: Robert Mueller Indicts DonaldTrumpVGC For Lying On NPA Sign Ups

Washington D.C. - In yet another shocking turn in the ongoing investigation into Russian interference in the United States election, Robert Mueller has issued an indictment for DonaldTrumpVGC on 3 counts of lying on his NPA sign up post. This announcement comes on the heels of Michael Flynn's indictment last week.

In the indictment, it is demonstrated that Mr. TrumpVGC claimed to have achieved 3 regional top 16s, but the highest placings actually achieved were 9, 19, and 22, which only accounts for one top 16 finish. In addition to this, it was stated that Mr TrumpVGC claimed to have topped the Showdown Ladder using the account MakeVGCGreatAgain, but it was determined that Mr TrumpVGC did not actually own this account. Additionally, Mr TrumpVGC also claimed to be a "cool dude" while providing absolutely no evidence towards this claim. When asked for comment, Mr TrumpVGC exclaimed "Porco Dio!" and went on to state he never would have gotten indicted if he didn't get crit during questioning from the Mueller Team.

A spokesperson from Mueller's office declined comment
